The cover of a D&RGW "booklet," undated but probably mid-1930's, no credits. The cover shows 4-8-4 #1702, one of the first such engines the D&RGW had (1700-1713). They replaced the 3 cylinder 4-8-2s (1600-1609) in passenger service and operated without a change (only servicing stops) between Denver and Salt Lake City.
