Pre-Divestiture - Cars that were known
to be leased to or assigned to the D&RGW
(Note regarding modeling suggestions:
Unless a model number is specified, an undecorated model
should be used and painted. For instance, Branchline 5522
is CHIEF JOSEPH but it represents a post-divestiture car
owned by the L&N - the CHIEF JOSEPH below would be
in Pullman Green (and owned by Pullman). Likewise, some
of the 10-1-2s indicated below are NOT the Branchline
or Walthers models, they are an earlier design which can
not be represented accurately with either model.)
This is not a definitive list, and
more cars will be added and, no doubt, corrections will
be made as time goes by.

Pullmans leased or assigned to the
CB&Q and/or the WP for use in the Exposition Flyer
that also would have shown up on the Rio Grande.
Note that cars leased or assigned
to the CB&Q could have also traveled the Royal Gorge
route as the Scenic Limited also included through cars
from the CB&Q. A more definitive study of assignments
is underway.

Notes on dates: Dates may be either
the original build date or the date that the car was reconfigured.
For more information on Pullman-built
sleepers, visit The
Pullman Project.
For Information on lightweight cars,
see
the lightweight car spreadsheet.

| Notes
on car names: The car names can be confusing when found in
consists due to the reuse of names and the fact that Pullman
operated cars with some of the same names (for instance, MT.
NEBO, MT. ELBERT). For the cars above, indicated as first
(except for MT. PRINCETON), the second car was one of the
lightweight cars from the 1950 order. |
