Reference [15] states that this engine, along with 430
(CR-101) and 431 (CR-102) were standard gauge locomotives
that were converted to narrow gauge by the D&RG. This statement
is incorrect. Various sources indicate that this engine was
nicknamed "Little Mudhen" in recognition of the fact that
it was nearly as powerful as the class 125 (later class K27)
"Mudhen" locomotives. |
